Watch For Democracy

THE ASK

The Cable Public Affairs channel tasked us with refreshing their brand and creating a campaign that would engage Canadians who week out political news but don’t see CPAC as an essential source for information.

THE ANSWER

Democracy needs informed citizens: In a world of filtered news, polarization, misinformation, and distrust, a strong democracy needs its citizens to be fully informed so they can hold those in power accountable. CPAC is the best and most reliable way to do that because it allows citizens to bear witness to raw, unfiltered democracy - a claim no other platform can make.

Democracy doesn’t stop when you leave your voting station. No matter your political affiliation, it requires close observation and accountability. It requires the eye of the people. That’s why we encouraged Canadians to watch CPAC to keep an eye on the issues that matter most to them:

“Politics is too serious a matter to be left to politicians”
- Charles De Gaulle
